[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/1″][vc_column_text]Summer teams have offically wrapped up and Church Missions Network has seen God work in incredible ways this summer! Over the last seven weeks we have seen five teams travel all over western Kenya doing medical clinics, ministering to children, and sharing the love of Christ.  While CMN has many different ministries, all stem from these medical clinics.  After every medical clinic, a new church is planted,  CMN then sends the pastor to seminary through our pastor trraining program. Once the church has grown enough, we begin the K4K feeding program where we feed local children and orphans three days a week. So while these are short term mission trips, the fruits of them will be seen for years and years to come.  Here are some of the results from each team of the summer.

The first team of the summer worked in the Kisumu area with the Luo tribe. Here our team was able to see 1,693 medical patients, gave out 8,461 prescriptions, love on 1,990 children, saw 551 professions of faith, and planted 4 churches.

Team two was in the Makindu area with the Kamba tribe and was able to see 1,149 medical patients, pass out 4,814 prescriptions, minister to 1,540 through children’s ministry, witnessed 354 accept Christ, and was able to plant 4 churches.

Webuye area with the Lujah tribe and in Bomet with the Kipsigis tribe, our third medical team saw a total of 3,522 medical patients, gave out 17,431 prescriptions, loved on 3,507 children, saw 1,264 people give their lives to Christ, and started 7 new churches where the new believers can be discipled.

Our fourth team was in the Bumala/Siaya area with the Luo tribe and in the Kehancha area with the Kuria and Maasai tribes.  Over the course of this trip our team was able to see 3,047 medical patients, gave out 15,055 prescriptions, ministered to 2,350 kids in children’s ministry, saw 677 professions of faith, and planted 7 new churches.

The final team was in the Mbita area with the Suba tribe and in Migori with the Luo and Suba tribes.  This team was able to see 2,612 medical patients, passed out 12,436 prescriptions, saw 613 people give their lives to Christ, and planted 6 new churches.

Over seven weeks and through five seperate teams, our incredible volunteers and team members were able to reach 12,033 medical patients; pass out 58,197 prescriptions; and shared the love of Christ with 9,387 children.  While meeting physical needs is important, the real reason we go is to share the love of Christ with the nations.  After the last seven weeks, we now have 3,459 new brothers and sisters in Christ and planted 28 new churches.
