SHORT TERM MISSION TRIPS;  LONG TERM EFFECTS

Our heart is train pastors, make disciples, and plant churches. We do this through short term mission trips, pastor training schools, orphan care, and small business training.

Church Planting

Church planting is at the heart of everything we do. In order to ensure that each new churches succeed, we put every new pastor through a 2 year pastor training school. We are now connected to 35 schools.

Pastor Training Schools

Pastor Training Schools are the lifeline of the work we do in Eastern Africa. Our heartbeat has and will always be church planting.  We have learned over the years that to plant an effective and long lasting church requires trained leaders.  Our strategy, fueled by our partnership with each of the country’s Baptist Conventions, is to plant Pastor Training Schools in areas where more Christian Churches are needed. There we start a training school where men will come and train to be pastors and church planters.  They will make a covenant with us to plant a church within their two years of training in a village that has no Christian Church.  In our schools they will be trained five days a month for two years through subjects like Old Testament, New Testament, Hermeneutics, Homiletics, Pastoral Ministry and many more.  These classes are taught by Indigenous Pastors that have a degree from a Seminary.  This strategy has proven to be very effective with us averaging planting around 200 churches per year.  We would love for you and your church to partner with one of these schools to train these pastors to plant these churches.

Medical Clinics

Our process begins with a medical clinic. Throughout the Bible, we see Jesus heal people. By reaching a communities’ physical needs, we are given an opportunity to share the Gospel and provide a hope that can only come from the Lord. On each day of our mobile medical clinics, we plant a church in that location.

Community Development

We believe it is vital to continue community development once a church is started. We do this in many ways, one of these through microfinancing for small businesses.

K4K (Kare 4 Kids)

After a church has taken root, we then begin the next stage of community development. Our orphan feeding program, K4K now feeds over 16,500 orphans and 1,000 widows.
