We love the song in this 2018 recap video called “Here For A Reason” by Ashes Remain. The powerful lyrics hold meaning for us in multiple ways. One is a prayer over our patients, that each person who comes through our medical clinics knows they are valuable and here on this Earth for a reason. We pray they leave the clinic knowing there is a God who loves them and there is purpose for their lives. On the other hand, this is also a prayer for our team members. We believe God places each person on our teams for a reason.

Each summer we see God do miraculous things through these teams and we are preparing our hearts now for what is in store. Whether you are deciding about joining the journey to East Africa this summer or partnering with us in other ways, we ask that you all join us in prayer for this summer. Pray for the team members who will be going, leaders serving, patients we will have, and for God’s love and mercy to shine above all.
