Our God Sized Vision for 2025

A new year…near possibilities.  Church Missions Network has been blessed with a 18 years of great ministry heritage and we are looking forward to continued growth and ministry impact in 2025.

The heart of Church Missions Network is to bring hope through the Good News of God’s Love by directly connecting people, churches, and accomplishing more together than any of us could do alone.

  • Working in 9 countries (Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda, Burundi, DRC, Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia)
  • 38 Pastor Training Schools
  • 800 students preparing in our CMN Pastor Training Schools
  • Praying for 215 new churches planted in 2025
  • Feeding over 17,000 Orphans and Widows weekly
  • Hosting 37 mission teams sent out by church partners
  • Empowering new indigenous leaders to expand the work of evangelism, discipleship and church planting to reach new areas.
  • Expanding new partnerships with US churches, allowing the work to grow and open new areas of ministry through creating new pastor training schools and on-going evangelism

Leadership Summit

At the beginning of each year Church Missions Network looks forward to hosting our annual Leadership Summit. This allows us to bring our leaders of leaders together for a time of sharing vision, clarifying direction and building stronger relationships. For the first time we were able to host our Leadership Summit in two locations, Kenya and Malawi. All 9 countries were represented by leaders in these meetings. These leaders will then take the vision for growth, evangelism, discipleship and multiplying church planting back to the areas they lead. I am continually amazed at the leaders that God has given us and the boldness these men possess. Since December 2024 we have lost 4 pastors in the DRC and two in Kenya. In spite of the difficulties, our leaders are fearless and serve with amazing resolve. The vision that these leaders have for what God is doing in their areas, is nothing short of extraordinary. I cannot wait to see all that God is up to in 2025.

K4K News

As most of you know, Kare for Kids, is our orphan and widow feeding ministry that is operating 75 feeding centers across Kenya and feeding better than 17,000 hungry souls every week.  It meets the dire needs of these orphans and widows in some of the most impoverished areas of Africa.  With this great work comes a great need.  We are asking our supporters to consider allowing this feeding ministry to be the mission partner for your Vacation Bible School this summer.  We will provide a short video that can be played each day and will include messages from those that have been blessed by the work.  We are positive that this will be a great blessing to your church and will add to your children’s Vacation Bible School experience this year.  All we ask is that you commit your missions offering that week to K4K.  Please take a moment to watch the video from McLean Chimwenje.

Missionaries on the Move

Wayne and Amy Heaton, along with their two boys (Timothy and Samuel) have recently re-located to Kenya.  Our work in Malawi is now totally indigenously led.  McLean Chimwenje, our country coordinator for Malawi, Mozambique and Zambia has a fine team of leaders who are carrying out the work of CMN in that region.  Kenya is a vast country with lots of potential for growth.  So through the Lord’s leadership, Wayne and Amy sensed God’s call to help our brothers in Kenya with the great opportunities for growth in that country.  Last year CMN hosted 3 medical teams in Kenya, in 2025 we have 16 teams scheduled for Kenya and 1 team scheduled for Tanzania.  These teams will be an incredible blessing to the work as they share the Gospel in mass in all these areas assisting our leaders in planting many new churches.
